Born January 31 1943. Mr. Dele Onamusi is a 1963 alumnus of the famous Ijebu Ode Grammar School. A Master Baker by profession, he received formal training at the Borough Polytechnic London, in the United Kingdom between 1966-1968; where he obtained a National Diploma in Baking Technology. He also undertook a 6 months compulsory industrial training at the Simmons Bakery in Hatfield from 1968 – 69, also in the United Kingdom. Mr. Dele Onamusi ran a successful Bakery business in Kano in the 70s and early 80s, supplying Nigeria Airways and major retailers at the time like Leventis, UTC, Chellarams, as well as a number of schools within the Kano metropolis. He was also responsible for establishing the first Bakery business in Billiri, Gombe State, Nigeria in 1976. He received Divine call into Christian Literature Ministry in 1977 after the visit of the Logos ship to Nigeria that same year. For many years, Mr. Dele Onamusi was a publisher, importer and wholesale distributor of Christian books and Bibles. He actually pioneered the distribution of evangelical and reformed literature in Nigeria. He was a founding member and the first President of the Christian Booksellers Association of Nigeria. He was also a founding member of the pioneer national cabinet of Gideon’s International in Nigeria and its one-time National Chaplain. Mr. Dele Onamusi has also served on the board of a Christian institution as well as other Christian organisations including Evangelical Churches of West Africa Theological Seminary Igbaja, Nigeria; Missionary Crusaders’ Ministry, and Nigeria Bible Translation Trust. In the last twenty-seven years, he and his wife Grace have been involved in Christian evangelism through literature.

He is a devout Christian and along with his wife of 46 years, has five grown-up children, two of who are deeply involved in Christian ministries.
